CERT-UA has detected a massive distribution of malicious emails allegedly on behalf of the SBU. More than 100 computers, including government agencies, have been infected. The emails contain a link to a file with the ANONVNC virus.

Ukraine's governmental computer emergency response team of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection has detected a massive distribution of malware emails purporting to be from the Security Service of Ukraine. The team has already identified more than 100 infected computers, including those of government agencies. This was reported by the State Special Communications Service, UNN reports.

"The CERT-UA government response team has detected a massive distribution of malware emails purporting to be from the Security Service of Ukraine. The emails contain a link to download a file named "Documents .zip", but in fact the link downloads a file that launches the ANONVNC malware. This program allows the attackers to gain hidden unauthorized access to the victim's computer," the statement said.

It is noted that more than 100 affected computers have already been identified, including among government agencies and local governments. The government team is taking

urgent measures to reduce the likelihood of a cyber threat being realized.
