The "Google Tax" brought Ukraine over 6.9 billion UAH (about 157 million USD) in the first four months of 2026; among the largest taxpayers are Apple, Google, Meta, Netflix, Sony, Valve, Etsy, Epic Games, and Wargaming, with revenues increasing by 1.5 billion UAH over the year, the State Tax Service reported on Wednesday, UNN writes.

As indicated, in foreign currency equivalent, this is:
- 52 million EUR;
- 97.6 million USD.
"Revenues increased by 1.5 billion UAH compared to the corresponding period last year. Among the largest taxpayers are: Apple, Google, Meta, Netflix, Sony, Valve, Etsy, Epic Games, and Wargaming. We use the services of these companies every day. This includes advertising, streaming platforms, online games, applications, and marketplaces," Karnaukh said.
As reported, since the beginning of this year, another 9 non-resident companies have registered as VAT payers in Ukraine.
In total, there are now 154 international companies officially paying the "Google Tax."

According to current legislation, a foreign company is obliged to register as a VAT payer in Ukraine if, during the last 12 months, the volume of its electronic services to Ukrainian users exceeded an amount equivalent to 1,000,000 hryvnias.
