The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the strike on the Tyumen oil refinery, the terminal in Kerch, the port "Kavkaz" and other objects of the enemy's logistics infrastructure. This was reported by UNN.

Details

In addition to striking the aforementioned objects, Ukrainian soldiers struck a railway bridge across the North Crimean Canal in the area of Rozdolne, a railway bridge in the area of Petershagen, Zaporizhzhia region, as well as a railway bridge across the Syvash in the area of Chongar.

These objects are used by the enemy for military transportation, the transfer of personnel and logistical support for the occupation troops

- the statement from the General Staff reads.

Also, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck an enemy command post in the area of Pochayiv, Belgorod region (rf) and enemy UAV control points in the areas of Myrne and Novoivanivka, Zaporizhzhia region, Komar in Donetsk region, and Gorki, Bryansk region (rf).

Why the struck objects are important for the Russians

The Tyumen oil refinery is one of the largest oil refining enterprises in Western Siberia and has a capacity of about 7.5–9 million tons of oil per year. The enterprise produces diesel fuel, gasoline, and other petroleum products, including for the needs of the Russian army. The terminal in Kerch is one of the key facilities for transshipment and storage of fuels and lubricants in Crimea and is used to support the needs of the occupation group of forces. The port "Kavkaz" is an important logistics hub that provides sea communication between the Krasnodar Territory and the temporarily occupied Crimea and is involved in supplying the Russian troops

- noted in the General Staff.

Reminder

Earlier, UNN reported that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the successful use of modernized Ukrainian long-range Fire Point drones against the Tyumen oil refinery, which is over 2,000 km from the border.

Also, in the temporarily occupied Crimea, the sale of fuel for cash and non-cash payments has been suspended. It also cannot be purchased with coupons for individuals and legal entities.
