MHP, Ukraine's largest agribusiness company, is expanding its vegetable production operations, allocating 80 hectares this year for potatoes, beets, carrots and onions, and plans to increase the area to 250 hectares next year as part of its transformation into a culinary company.

MHP is developing a new direction - vegetable growing. This was announced by MHP's Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Agribusiness Sergiy Dobrohorsky , reports UNN.

This step is a continuation of our transformation into a culinary company. This year, we have allocated 80 hectares for this project. This is the second year we have been growing vegetables. Last year it was potatoes and beets, this year we added carrots and onions. We are planning to develop this area and next year we are going to increase the area under vegetables to 250 hectares. This is a lot for vegetable growing
