Kyiv law enforcement officers conducted an additional inspection of the tunnel between the Demiivska-Lybidska metro stations. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Main Department of the National Police in Kyiv.

It is noted that the investigative actions are being carried out in connection with an emergency situation that led to a leak, water leakage and sand entering the subway tunnel.

The agency reminded that on December 13, law enforcement officers conducted simultaneous searches in the framework of criminal proceedings under the qualification of "official negligence" (Part 2 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) in the Kyiv Metro, Metrobud and structural units of the Kyiv City State Administration to identify those responsible for the damage to the metro tunnel.
Recall
On December 8, new cracks appeared in the subway tunnel between Demiivska and Lybidska stations, causing water to seep in, posing a real threat to the safety of passenger transportation. Therefore, 6 stations of the "blue line" of the metro were closed for at least 6 months.
Later, a shuttle train service was launched between Teremky and Demiivska stations in Kyiv .
