A rally of supporters of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko is gathering on Solomyanska Square in Kyiv, near the building of the Court of Appeals, where the Pechersk District Court will continue hearing witnesses in the criminal case regarding the murder of People's Deputy Yevhen Shcherban. At the moment, there are already about three hundred supporters of the former Prime Minister on the square, who, as is known, is accused by the investigation of involvement in the contract killing of the MP.
Officially, the rally is scheduled to begin at 9:30. For now, the activists are standing without any symbols.
Also, four bears and two pandas are walking near the protesters.
Police continue to provide tight security for the court building; in particular, all entrances except the central one, which is also heavily guarded, have been blocked.
As a reminder, the next session of the Pechersk Court in the case of the murder of Yevhen Shcherban, which is to take place in the building of the Kyiv Court of Appeals, will begin at 10:00.
