Elon Musk said that X, formerly known as Twitter, will start showing headers again in previews of messages with URLs on the platform after removing headers last month, reports UNN.
Details
In a post on X, Musk said that in a future update, the company will put a headline on top of the image of messages with URLs. He did not specify a timeframe for implementing the change or provide an example of what it might look like.
Addendum
In August, Tesla's CEO said that X plans to stop showing titles in messages with URLs in previews to improve aesthetics. The company stopped showing headers in October after the announcement.
Because of this change, TechCrunch notes , users had to click or tap the URL card to find out the title or read the headline. To get around this change, publishers started writing their own titles on images and publishing the link separately or including the title in the generated preview card image.
