There is a significant threat of new Russian attacks, so all Easter services should be as safe as possible. This was stated by the head of the CRMA Ruslan Kravchenko during a meeting with representatives of the Council of Churches, reports UNN.
On the eve of Easter, I met with representatives of the Council of Churches, other religious organizations, and law enforcement. Despite the difficult security situation, we must do everything to ensure that every resident of Kyiv region has a peaceful and calm holiday. The threat of new Russian attacks is significant. Therefore, all services should be as safe as possible
The head of the CRMA asked church representatives to promptly and as widely as possible inform people about the need to comply with all security measures.
Kravchenko said that on Easter, on the night of Saturday, May 4, to Sunday, May 5, the curfew in the Kyiv region will remain unchanged - from 00:00 to 5:00. Movement on the street during this time is prohibited, so services should be broadcast online.
The churches will be open to the public after the curfew ends.
Please also take all measures to avoid large crowds in one place. In the event of an alarm, promptly ask people to go to the nearest shelter. The necessary information about their location should also be provided," added the head of the RMA.
Law enforcement officers will monitor public order and work in an enhanced mode.
However, Kravchenko urged Ukrainians to be as vigilant as possible. If you have information about possible provocations, you should immediately contact law enforcement.
"The greatest Christian holiday should be a real holiday for every believer," added the head of the CRMA.
