I request to dismiss me, Colonel Pavlo Oleksandrovych Yelizarov, from the position of Deputy Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in connection with the dismissal of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov, the initiator of strategic reforms in the field of the country's air defense, the blocking of which will cause numerous casualties and destruction in Ukraine as a result of the aggression of the Russian Federation
Yelizarov cited subparagraph "g" of paragraph 3 of part 5 of Article 26 of the Law of Ukraine "On Military Duty and Military Service" - family circumstances defined in paragraph 3 of part 12 of Article 26 of this Law - as the basis for (termination) of the contract and dismissal from service.
Yelizarov added that he does not express a desire to continue military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and does not wish to undergo military service in the military reserve in the relevant military specialty.
I believe that Fedorov's removal is a great evil for the country's defense capability

People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will propose Ihor Klymenko, who headed the Ministry of Internal Affairs, for the position of Minister of Defense. He added that Fedorov will not retain his post "due to the failure of the TCC reform."
Amid the dismissal of Mykhailo Fedorov, advisors to the Minister of Defense - Serhiy Sternenko and Serhiy "Flash" Beskrestnov - announced the end of their work at the Ministry of Defense.
