Border guards repelled an enemy assault in the Bakhmut sector. The Russians tried to break through the defense of our troops by attacking with heavy equipment, but were beaten by Ukrainian defenders and forced to retreat. This was reported by the press service of the State Border Guard Service, UNN reports.
Supported by tanks, armored personnel carriers and armored personnel carriers, the enemy tried to break through the defense line with two platoons, but suffered losses and retreated.

The border guard agency added that the assault was repelled by soldiers of the Offensive Guard Brigade "Revenge" together with the Defense Forces. In total, they destroyed 12 units of enemy equipment.
Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance men filmed the incident.
