The Kyiv police received information about the incident around 15:00 today.
It has been preliminarily established that the citizen approached a vehicle with a box next to it. After the man picked it up, it detonated. The victim died on the spot from his injuries
Law enforcement officers are identifying the deceased. The investigative team of the district and main police departments, explosives experts, a forensic expert and other services are working at the scene.
