The man was most interested in the coordinates of headquarters, concentration of military equipment and location of warehouses with weapons for Ukrainian defenders.

He remotely transmitted the information to the occupiers through their "liaisons". As the SBU found out, they were a militant of a separate motorized rifle regiment and a battalion commander of the motorized rifle brigade of the Yenakiyevo-Danube brigade of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces.

Based on the evidence collected, the court found the defendant guilty under Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (providing assistance to the armed forces of the aggressor state in conducting hostilities against the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations). Taking into account the cooperation with the investigation, the offender was sentenced to 12 years in prison

- the SBU summarized.

According to the investigation, the enemy informant was a resident of Sloviansk who supported the armed aggression of Russia. It is noted that in an attempt to "anonymize" his "reports", the man used voice messages to transmit intelligence to the Russians.

As a reminder,

The court sentenced to 15 years in prison a Russian serviceman who was captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Bakhmut. The man voluntarily joined the ranks of the occupiers and fought against the Defense Forces on the eastern front.
