On November 23, Ukraine and the world commemorate the victims of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 and the mass man-made famines of 1921-1923 and 1946-1947. Today, at 16:00, a nationwide minute of silence and the "Light a Candle" campaign will be held in Ukraine, UNN reports, citing the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory.
"We remember the millions of human lives that Ukraine lost as a result of the Holodomor and massive man-made famines. This year, for the third time, we will honor the victims of the communist genocide in the context of Russia's full-scale genocidal war against Ukraine. The tragic events that we are experiencing show that living memory is extremely important; those who commit crimes against humanity must be condemned by the world community, and the victims must be honored with dignity," the UINP noted.

The Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance, together with the National Museum of the Holodomor Genocide, will commemorate those killed by the communist totalitarian regime.
Reportedly, the public will have the opportunity to visit the National Museum "Holodomor Victims Memorial". A prayer service will be held with the participation of the clergy of the OCU and the UGCC near the museum. There will be an opportunity to join the volunteer action "Warm Gathering".
