In Britain, a dinner menu signed by scientist Albert Einstein was sold at auction for 18,000 pounds. This is reported by the BBC, UNN reports.

This is a menu card from a reception held at the Savoy Hotel in London in 1930 to raise funds for Jewish communities in Europe.
Among the guests were, among others, playwright Bernard Shaw, writer H.G. Wells and others. In total, the event was attended by over 370 people.
Sophie Tregarten-Laske of the auctioneers said: "It was a really interesting document to spend a few weeks cataloging.
Einstein was the guest of honor at the dinner, which was attended by more than 370 people at a time when the Nazi Party's influence was growing in Europe.
Before the sale, the menu was stored in the family home in Westbury, Wiltshire.
