More than half of the 81 battles on the front today occurred in two directions - the Sloviansk and Pokrovsk directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in a statement as of 4:00 p.m. on July 10, UNN writes.
Since the beginning of the day, the aggressor has attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 81 times
Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today, in the Sumy region, the settlements of Korenyok, Ryzhivka, Volfyne, Hirky, Tovstodubove, Sopych, Bachivsk, Vilna Sloboda, Neskuchne, Ulanove, Holyshivske, Budky, Malushyne were affected; in the Chernihiv region – Klyusy, Lyady. Karpovychi and Mala Slobidka were subjected to airstrikes.
Situation by directions
In the North-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the occupiers carried out two airstrikes, dropping five KABs, and conducted 16 shellings of settlements and positions of our troops, including one from a multiple launch rocket system.
In the South-Slobozhanskyi direction, the invaders attempted three times to break through the defense in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Lyman, and towards Novovasylivka. Two combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, no offensive actions by the enemy were recorded.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 11 attempts by the invaders to advance towards the settlements of Chervonyi Stav, Borova, Lyman, Ozerne, Dibrova, and in the area of Drobysheve. Two attacks are ongoing.
In the Sloviansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 26 enemy attacks towards the settlements of Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Mykolaivka, and in the areas of Riznykivka and Zakitne.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian invaders carried out two attacks in the area of the settlement of Fedorivka Druha and towards Vasyutynske.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, our defenders repelled ten attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, Stepanivka; two attacks are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have attempted 21 times to dislodge our soldiers from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Toretske, Novomykolaivka, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Vasylivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, and towards the settlements of Vilne, Kucheriv Yar, Nove Shakhove, Matyasheve, Myrne, Novopavlivka. Four combat engagements are ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy once attempted to advance in the area of Ternove.
In the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces repelled six enemy attacks towards the settlements of Olenokostiantynivka, Staroukrainka, and Huliaipilske.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy once stormed the positions of our defenders towards the settlement of Shcherbaky.
In the Dnipro direction, no offensive actions by the enemy were recorded.
In other directions, no significant changes in the situation are currently occurring. No attempts by the enemy to advance were recorded.
Ukrainian troops are exhausting the enemy along the entire line of combat contact and in the rear.
