In early December, the "Take care of you REB!" collection organized by EVA and the Serhiy Prytula Foundation was completed. The project raised UAH 2,221,715 and enabled the purchase of 9 electronic warfare systems for the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
The "Take Care of You Electronic Warfare!" appeal was launched on September 5, 2024, to raise funds for the purchase of modern electronic warfare (EW) equipment for the Ukrainian military. Thanks to these devices, enemy drones lose the ability to transmit video, control flights or launch attacks, which directly saves the lives of Ukraine's defenders.
In three months, about 200,000 users of the EVA MOSAIC loyalty program transferred more than UAH 1.2 million in bonuses to the initiative. Another one million hryvnias was raised through the website of the Serhiy Prytula Foundation thanks to the support of concerned Ukrainians.
In order to get the equipment to work at the front as soon as possible, the organizers decided to purchase and deliver the systems during the collection period. As a result, 7 electronic warfare systems have already been delivered to the Kara-Dag operational brigade and the 110th separate mechanized brigade. Another 2 systems are being prepared for delivery to the 47th separate mechanized brigade.
"Electronic warfare means safety and protection for our military. Thanks to our joint efforts, we have managed to provide several brigades with these vital means, which are now working on every kilometer of the frontline, countering enemy drones. We understand that even one saved life was worth all the efforts made to organize this project,", - comments Andriy Shuvalov, Director of the Serhiy Prytula Foundation.
The average bonus contribution was only UAH 5, but it was from hundreds of thousands of such small donations that we managed to raise a significant amount. The "Take care of you REB!" campaign has once again proved that there are no small donors when we unite for a common goal.
"Electronic warfare systems at the front are no less important than weapons. They conceal positions, blind the enemy and protect equipment from attacks. But most importantly, these systems save the lives of our defenders. That's why we are proud of the results of the project "Berezhi tyu REB!". We are grateful to everyone who joined the initiative, as well as to everyone who is defending our country today," adds Oleksandra Hnatyk, Head of PR at EVA stores.
For their part, military representatives emphasize how important such support is: "There are examples when FPVs could not reach the vehicles with electronic warfare devices. They lost connection and fell down nearby. Everyone remained alive and well, because the radar dome worked, preventing the FPV from reaching the target," said Ivan Sekach, head of the communications department of the 110th separate mechanized brigade named after Major General Mark Bezruchko. - I would like to thank the organizers, this is really important help, because we cannot separate the Armed Forces from the people. This is our joint work to protect our homeland and it is nice when both business and aid funds participate in the defense of our country".
The project "Take care of you REB!" has become another example of how the unity of Ukrainians helps not only to bring victory closer, but also to provide protection for those who protect us.
