Near the coast of temporarily occupied Crimea, 19 earthquakes were recorded over the past day. This is evidenced by data from the Main Center for Special Control, reports UNN.

According to the center, a series of tremors occurred on June 22 in the area of the Crimean Peninsula and the adjacent waters of the Black Sea.
Among the recorded earthquakes, the most powerful was a tremor with a magnitude of 4.5. Experts also recorded earthquakes with magnitudes of 4.2, 3.8, 3.6, 3.6, and 3.3.
Most of the tremors occurred near the coast of the peninsula
The Main Center for Special Control reported that some of the earthquakes were recorded near the coast of Crimea, while others were directly in the area of the peninsula.
There is currently no information about casualties or destruction.
The Crimean region belongs to the seismically active zones of Ukraine. Most often, earthquakes in this area occur in the waters of the Black Sea near the southern coast of the peninsula.
