On Sunday afternoon, December 17, Russians shelled the center of Krasnopillia village in Sumy region with multiple rocket launchers, killing 1 civilian, damaging 2 civilian vehicles and 3 private houses were damaged. This was reported by the Sumy JMA, reports UNN.

It is noted that on Sunday, the Russians carried out 23 attacks on the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. 61 explosions were recorded.
Yunakivska, Myropilska, Krasnopilska were shelled, Bilopilska, Velykopysarivska, Esmanska, Seredyna-Budska, Znob-Novhorodska communities:
▪️ Yunakivska community: the enemy fired mortars (4 explosions).
▪️ Krasnopilska community: mortar shelling (17 explosions), artillery shelling (8 explosions). Also, in the center of the village Krasnopillia village of Sumy district was shelled with MLRS (2 explosions), resulting in 1 civilian was killed, 2 civilian vehicles and 3 private houses.
▪️ Esman community: mortar shelling was recorded (5 explosions).
▪️ Seredyna-Buda community: 2 mines dropped by Russians on the the community's territory. There was also a tank attack (2 explosions).
▪️ Myropilska community: there was a mortar attack (4 explosions).
▪️ Znob-Novhorod community: mortar attacks were carried out (3 explosions).
▪️ Bilopilska community: the enemy fired from mortars (10 explosions).
▪️ Velykopysarivska community: mortar shelling was recorded (4 explosions).
