President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with members of the U.S. House of Representatives led by Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, with the Honorable Speaker Nancy Pelosi also in attendance.
The meeting focused on pressing issues related to Ukraine's security. Zelenskyy emphasized the continuation of russia's missile terror, in particular the recent attack on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital, which, he said, underscores the importance of strengthening air defense and taking decisive steps to destroy russia's ability to terrorize Ukraine.

He also expressed gratitude to the U.S. Congress for their role in limiting the potential of the aggressor state, support for strengthening sanctions pressure and the need to continue them.
