Zelenskiy reports 4 killed and 92 wounded in Russian strike on Ukraine, praises air defense efforts and promises work to strengthen air shield

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to another massive enemy attack on Ukraine, saying that 4 victims and 92 wounded are currently known, and showed a video of the aftermath of the attack, UNN reports.

We are now dealing with the consequences of another Russian strike. All necessary services are involved. More than 500 rescuers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, utilities, power engineers, and police. Kyiv and the region, Kharkiv. As of now, we know about 92 wounded. Everyone is being helped. Unfortunately, four people have died. My condolences to the families and friends

- Zelensky wrote on social media.

The President pointed out that our air defense soldiers have been doing an incredible job for three days now. "Since December 31, Russian inhumans have already used about 170 "Shaheds" and dozens of missiles of various types. The vast majority of them were aimed at civilian objects. I am grateful to all our partners who are helping to strengthen our air shield. And it is obvious that this helps to save hundreds of lives every day and every night that would have been taken by Russian terror if not for Petriots and other defense systems," Zelensky said.

"This year, we will continue to work with everyone in the world who values life to further strengthen our air shield and bring Russia to justice for its actions. The terrorist state must feel the consequences of what it is doing," the Head of State emphasized.
