Electricity consumption in Ukraine remains high in the evening, and although no blackouts are expected today, Ukrainians are asked to shift the use of powerful electrical appliances to daytime hours - from 11:00 to 15:00, NPC Ukrenergo reported on Wednesday, UNN reports.

"No restrictive measures are expected today. Due to the cold snap, the downward trend in consumption across the country continues. However, the load on the system is still high in the evening," the company said.
It is noted that yesterday's evening maximum was 1.2% higher than the same period on Monday. "Cooler nights are affecting consumption in the morning. Today at 10.00 a.m., consumption is 2% lower than yesterday morning," the report said.
"If possible, shift the use of powerful electrical appliances to daytime hours - from 11:00 to 15:00. This is the period when the power system has the most electricity due to the active operation of solar power plants," Ukrenergo emphasized.
