Ukrainian athlete Aida Kerimova became the European U-20 wrestling champion in the 50 kg weight category. She confidently reached the final and won gold, leaving no chance for the Swiss representative. It is worth noting that on her way to the championship, Aida did not give a single point to her rivals.
In addition to Aida Kerimova, two other Ukrainian women competed for awards. Maria Nemish (up to 55 kg) and Oleksandra Rybak (up to 68 kg) competed for bronze, but unfortunately lost their fights and took the final fifth place in their respective categories.
