On the first day of the championship, where competitions were held in the 12-13 and 14-15 years old categories, the Ukrainian mixed martial arts team, which already holds a three-time world title, showed its highest skills.
In total, Ukrainians won 8 gold, 12 silver and 13 bronze medals.
