Ukraine failed to fulfill all its obligations to importers of Ukrainian agricultural products. Currently, only about half of the planned volumes can be exported. This was announced by Dmitry Solomchuk, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on agrarian and land policy, during a briefing, reports UNN.

We export an average of 3 million tons per month. This is 50% of what we have to export

- Dmitry Solomchuk said.

Details

Solomchuk also added that it was not possible to complete all the volumes.

You can see how difficult everything is. Negotiations are underway at all levels of government, and the Armed Forces are ensuring security in the Black Sea. 200 vessels have already been loaded since September, and about 7 million tons have been exported, but this is a figure for several months. We need farmers to keep a decent world price, to free up warehouses before the new harvest, and to have exports per month at the level of 6.5 million tons.

- Solomchuk explained.

Recall

Ukraine and Bulgaria agreed on licensing the export of Ukrainian agricultural products, in particular sunflower, rapeseed, corn and wheat seeds.
