U.S. President Donald Trump has accused certain American media outlets of treason. He stated that "those journalists who spread information about the restoration of Iran's military potential are traitors to the state," UNN reports, citing Trump's post on the social network Truth Social.

The post on Trump's social media page appeared following media reports that Iran has regained access to most of its missile bases and has retained about 70% of its pre-war arsenal of launchers and missiles.
The U.S. President called the authors of such news "cowards rooting against their own country."
"When the Fake News media claims that the Iranian enemy is having military success against us, it is effectively Treason, because it is such a false and even absurd statement. They are aiding and abetting the enemy. It only gives Iran false hope where none should exist at all. These are American cowards rooting against our Country. Iran had 159 ships in its Navy—now every single ship, without exception, rests at the bottom of the sea. They have no Navy, their Air Force is destroyed, all technology is lost, their 'leaders' are no longer with us, and the Country is an economic disaster. Only losers, ingrates, and fools are capable of making arguments against America,"
