Police are establishing the circumstances of a triple car accident with six dead and five injured in Kharkiv region, the regional police reported, UNN reports.

The accident occurred on the morning of December 7 on the highway near the village of Novopavlivka, Izium district. Six people were killed and five injured as a result of the collision between a Nissan Primastar, a TATRA truck and a Mitsubishi.
An investigative team was sent to the scene. The police are inspecting the scene.
The investigator is deciding whether to open criminal proceedings under Article 286 (violation of the rules of road safety or operation of transport by persons driving vehicles) of the Criminal Code. All the circumstances of the accident are being established.
