He noted that people who need financial support from the state to purchase forests will receive it in the near future. Mr. Strelets reminded that the Cabinet of Ministers had decided to allocate additional funds for people to purchase fuel wood or coal. He also added that firewood harvesting does not mean uncontrolled deforestation. Those areas that are intended for harvesting are being restored according to plans. For example, in 2021, forest restoration was 128% of what was cut down, and in 2022 - 134%.
