One of the winners of the second grant program of the Vadym Stolar Foundation, the Strong and Unbreakable Charitable Foundation, has equipped a room for rehabilitation of wounded soldiers at the Myronivka Hospital for Rehabilitation Treatment. "Thanks to a grant of UAH 400,000 from our Foundation, the charitable organization was able to equip the room with everything it needed. Among them are a simulator for the development of fine motor skills, which is necessary for soldiers holding weapons, and a simulator for restoring limb movement after injuries," said Yulia Ulasyk, project manager of the Vadym Stolar Foundation, a volunteer.
According to Oleksandr Gorkusha, director of the Myronivka hospital, the equipment provided has already been installed and is being successfully used in the facility. So far, about 150 servicemen have undergone rehabilitation there.
In turn, Yulia Omelchenko, director of the Strong and Unbreakable Charitable Foundation, noted Ukraine's great need for rehabilitation rooms and specialized equipment, and thanked the partners for the opportunity to participate in the grant program and receive funding for their project.
"We strive to support initiatives aimed at helping our defenders, preserving their health and lives. And by cooperating with other organizations that are professionals in various fields, we can increase the efficiency of our activities and help even more people. The Grant for an Important Cause project has already proved its effectiveness, and we will definitely continue its implementation," said Vadym Stolar, founder of the Foundation.
