She pleaded guilty and explained that in this way she and her friends modernized the tradition of celebrating christenings: instead of transporting them in a car, she decided to take the guests in the trunk," the statement said.
It is noted that the incident took place in Zdolbuniv, Rivne region. The video, which was shared on social media, shows a VAZ moving through the streets of the city, with three female passengers in its open trunk.
"The police quickly identified the vehicle using CCTV cameras and later stopped the driver. It was a 63-year-old resident of the village of Bohdashiv. Reports of administrative offenses were drawn up against the driver and she was fined 510 hryvnias," the police added.
