The material was sucked out of the finger: Ihnat on Newsweek's story about F-16s in Ukraine

The spokesman for the Air Force Command, Yuriy Ihnat, said that the Newsweek article about the F-16s being in Ukraine was pulled out of the water, UNN reports.

"The American edition of Newsweek has published a story out of the blue with incredible assumptions about the presence of F-16s in Ukraine and even their alleged involvement in the downing of six Russian aircraft. This is a great chance for hype for our telegram channels and various media that do not care about their own reputation," Ihnat wrote.

Ihnat emphasized that yesterday, on December 26, he explained the inexpediency of the F-16's stay in Ukraine at this stage.

"F-16 fighters may already be in Ukraine, Newsweek reports, citing US sources". Really? Then why did I go on live broadcasts of Ukrainian and foreign media 23 times yesterday to talk about the p@ssy ship and refute the idiotic Russian statements about the destruction of F-16s, as well as the inexpediency of their stay in Ukraine at this stage? Leave me alone!" Ignat said.

He also gave a link to Newsweek, where, according to him, it is obvious that the material was sucked out of his finger.

"If you don't speak English, use a Google translator!" Ignat emphasized.

Addendum

Ignat reportedthat the transfer of F-16 fighters to Ukraine will take place only after the infrastructure is prepared, pilots and aviation engineers are trained, despite the readiness to transfer the first batch of aircraft.
