In Russia, Viktor Tarazevich, the head of the food department of the Ministry of Defense's resource support department, has been arrested. He is suspected of large-scale fraud. This was reported by Russian media, according to UNN.

According to the Russian RBC, Tarazevich was detained on May 20, after which a military court ruled for his arrest. The colonel himself does not plead guilty.
The department headed by Tarazevich is responsible for providing Russian troops with food supplies, and also controls the operation of military warehouses, storage bases, and bakeries.
