Dmytro Kotovskyi and Samir Mirzoyev have been recognized as the best athletes of December 2023. This decision of the Expert Commission of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine was reported by the NOC, UNN writes.

"Dmytro Kotovskyi, bronze medalist of the World Cup and winner of the European Cup freestyle ski acrobatics (Ruka, Finland), was recognized as the Best Athlete of December 2023. Accordingly, Enver Ablaev, Kotovsky's personal trainer, was named the Best Coach of December 2023.
"Samir Mirzoyev, bronze medalist of the European Taekwondo Championships among youth (U-21), weight category up to 58 kg (Bucharest, Romania), was recognized as the Best Young Athlete of December 2023. His personal trainer Oleg Mashkin will be awarded the title of "Best Coach of a Young Athlete in December 2023".
