The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the destruction of 35 attack drones launched by the enemy last night, UNN reports.
"On the night of January 2, 2024, the occupiers attacked with 35 attack UAVs of type "Shahed-136/131" from Cape Chauda - Crimea and the Primorsko-Akhtarsk region - Russia.
All enemy strike UAVs were destroyed by the Air Forces and the Defense Forces of Ukraine," the Ukrainian Air Force said in a statement.
In the capital, it was reported that the wreckage of one of the UAVs fell in the in an open area.
"As of 04:00 in the capital, as a result of an attack by enemy UAVs no critical damage was caused. Several remnants of drones have fallen in the in the open area. There was no information about no information on casualties was received. The data of the operational summary is being updated and clarified," - KMVA reported.
