The head of Odesa regional state administration Oleh Kiper toldwhat Odesa region is "rich" in, UNN reports.
Details
He clarified that Odesa region is rich not only in the sea, but also in other alternative types of tourism: gastronomic, historical, green, ecological, etc.
Therefore, the Odesa RMA and its partners have compiled a regional list of recreational locations - both architectural monuments of different times and numerous areas for family recreation and health improvement.
Among other things, we are talking about the recreation center "Sadyba na Kodyma" located in the village of Archepytivka. It is located in an ecologically clean place, opposite a unique apple orchard, on the banks of the Kodyma River.
"You can spend not just a weekend, but a very long vacation there. There are two-story log cabins with all the amenities, a restaurant, a playground, a spa complex, floating gazebos, catamarans, and swimming pools. Nearby is a snail farm, where you can watch the process of growing snails and conduct tastings. Entertainment options include fishing on the river and various excursions. The Sadyba na Kodymi offers the most delicious dishes made from local products. You will be pleasantly surprised by the picturesque view of the environment and the surrounding landscape at the "Sadyba na Kodymi"," the statement reads.
In addition, there are apitherapy houses in the village of Nova Valyarka in Odesa region. It is known that bee vibrations have a positive effect on all processes in the body, including the respiratory system, musculoskeletal system, nervous and mental systems. Apitherapy is useful for diabetics and has no contraindications. Even allergy sufferers can use the service of sleeping on a hive, as there is no direct contact with honey, bees, or their products.
In addition, in the village of Pokrovka, Odesa region, there is the Church of St. John the Theologian. The church is located on a high hill on the left bank of the Tiligul River. It has 11 domes and 4 large bells, unique architecture, and ancient icons. Local historians say that this church is an exact copy of the church in Vienna, Austria. According to legend, there are underground passages under the church that lead to the Tiligul River and to a former estate (now a school). The walls of the church are reinforced with egg white mortar. After all the construction work was completed in the early XX century, the majestic village church was solemnly consecrated in honor of St. John the Theologian.
