A shell exploded during demining in Donetsk region, damaging a GCS-200 mechanized demining machine, no one was injured, the State Emergency Service reported on Tuesday, UNN reports.

"A GCS-200 mechanized demining machine was damaged in Donetsk region during the demining of the territory by pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service as a result of the detonation of a shell (previously AC-152 mm). Fortunately, there were no casualties," the agency said in a statement on social media.
It is noted that the pyrotechnic units of the SES continue to clear Ukraine of explosive devices every day. And that since the beginning of the war, a total area of more than 141 hectares has been surveyed and more than 514 thousand explosive devices have been defused.
