The 20-year-old reportedly lived in the basement of a house at the epicenter of enemy bombardment. In the morning, she went into labor and needed emergency hospitalization.
When the police arrived, the girl, 37 weeks pregnant, was in a semi-conscious state. As noted, she had not previously sought medical attention and was not registered as pregnant.
The crew was traveling at the highest possible speed, accompanied by a rapid response team that ensured unimpeded movement.
Under fire, the police evacuated the woman in labor to Pokrovsk, where doctors were waiting for her, along the destroyed road.
The woman gave birth to a healthy daughter, who was named Varvara.
Kurakhove police chief Artem Shchus and "white angels" Vasyl Pipa and Rustam Lukomskyi took part in the rescue mission.
