Even after the idea of exchanging cruise missiles, which was discussed by the United Kingdom, there is no new status in the Taurus discussion, German government spokesman Steffen Gebestreit said on Monday, UNN reports with reference to tagesschau.

Gebestreit referred to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's refusal to supply Taurus to Ukraine: "The decision has been made." Scholz "made it clear that he does not want to accept any involvement of German soldiers in this conflict, directly or indirectly," he said.
Commenting on the statement of German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock, who described the UK proposal as an "option", the German Foreign Ministry spokesperson said: "The foreign minister said what she said. It speaks for itself".
