The first deputy head of the Khmelnytsky regional military administration, Serhiy Tyurin, reported that another enemy attack on Khmelnytsky region "damaged critical infrastructure and residential buildings."
According to Khmelnitskoblenergo, "as a result of an enemy attack, power grids have been damaged in Khmelnytsky region, and there are emergency power outages.
Later, Khmelnytskoblenergo reported that "power engineers have powered the critical infrastructure of the region, continue to re-power homes and facilities of household and non-household consumers using an emergency power supply scheme.
"As of 11:00 a.m., electricity is partially absent in 42 settlements of the region, and completely absent in 63," Khmelnytskoblenergo said on Telegram.
Khmelnytsky Mayor Oleksandr Symchyshyn reported that "a number of residential buildings were damaged and destroyed, hundreds of apartments in high-rise buildings were damaged, and dozens of cars were damaged.
"Thanks to the efficient work of all services, water supply and sewerage have been restored. Heat supply and hot water supply have also been restored. There are interruptions in electricity supply, more than 50% of consumers have been supplied with power. Educational and medical institutions are working without interruption," the mayor of Khmelnytsky wrote on Telegram.
According to Tyurin, there are 2 dead in the region, there are wounded, and people are being searched for under the rubble.
"A 21-year-old girl was rescued from the rubble, who had been in touch by phone for an hour and a half. She has been hospitalized and is being provided with the necessary assistance," said Tyurin on Facebook.
