According to a widespread fake, the Ukrainian army placed equipment for air defense systems and fire guidance on the territory of the russian federation on the TV tower. However, according to Ukrainian sources, this information is a manipulation aimed at spreading panic among the local population.
According to reports, the attack on the TV tower was intended to interrupt communications and restrict access to information, not to destroy the mythical fire guidance systems. Thus, russian media are trying to divert attention from the true motives of the aggression.
The population of Kharkiv and the surrounding areas has already switched to satellite and cable TV, as well as mobile and Internet services. However, full restoration of the TV tower will only be possible after the end of hostilities.
