"The 'Carpet' plan has been introduced at Kazan airport. Departing and arriving flights have been delayed, the Federal Air Transport Agency said. Monitoring channels are reporting the threat of a UAV attack," the ASTRA telegram channel notes.
"Residents of Grozny report hearing explosions. Preliminary, the city is under attack by drones. There is no official information yet," the Baza telegram channel says.
The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that 59 unmanned aerial vehicles were "destroyed" by its air defense systems overnight: 26 UAVs over the territory of the Belgorod region, 23 over the territory of the Voronezh region, three UAVs each over the territories of the Kursk, Bryansk and Tambov regions, and one over the waters of the Azov Sea.
