Russian Federation opens criminal cases against Ukrainian journalists and CNN correspondent for reporting from Suja

The Russian Federal Security Service has opened criminal cases against an American and two Ukrainian journalists for illegal border crossing and filming in Kursk Region. They will be put on an international wanted list, and a case has also been opened against Italian journalists.

The Russian Federal Security Service has opened criminal cases against an American journalist of CNN and two Ukrainian journalists who filmed reports from the Kursk region of Russia, where the AFU is conducting an operation. They are accused of illegally crossing the Russian border, UNN reports.

The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation has opened and is investigating criminal cases against American journalist Nick Walsh and Ukrainian correspondents Olesya Borovik ("We-Ukraine")  and Diana Butsko (hromadske).

The Russian Federation accuses them of "illegally crossing the state border of the Russian Federation and videotaping near the village of Suja in the Kursk region".

"In the near future they will be put on an international wanted list," the FSB said.

The rf Federal Security Service (FSB) opened a case against journalists from Italy over their reporting from Suja, Kursk region, rf, which is now controlled by Ukrainian troops.

The other day the Italian TV channel Rai 1 published its own report from Suja in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, which is now controlled by Ukrainian troops. In connection with this, Moscow summoned the Italian ambassador to the Foreign Ministry.

Footage from the Ukrainian-controlled territory of the Kursk region was also recorded by Ukrainian journalists.
