The Russian army deliberately attacked the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv on the eve of the NATO summit as a "slap in the face" to the Alliance,  while Hungary and China demanded an immediate ceasefire, appealing to the West and Ukraine, according to Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the head of the Presidential Office, UNN reports

Details

On Telegram, Podolyak listed three unconditional conclusions drawn in connection with the deliberate missile attack on Ukraine's largest children's hospital, Okhmatdyt

"1. This is an absolutely deliberate action, specially designed and approved by the Putin entity. On the eve of the NATO summit. As a slap in the face to the Alliance. rf sends an informal signal to everyone of the following content: "Even the outright killing of children will not force them (the Alliance) to make all the necessary decisions. And so we continue to attack..."

2. Almost simultaneously with the deliberate attack on children in the Ukrainian capital, the leaders of Hungary and China once again demanded an "immediate ceasefire." This demand is not addressed to Russia. It is addressed only to the West and Ukraine. And its purpose is to create a false sense: the aggressor has the right to kill because it speaks of "peace", and the victim should not defend itself and therefore should immediately stop resisting, leaving the territory and its own citizens to the aggressor... This looks extremely unnatural and definitely encourages Russia to continue attacking," Podoliak said.

In the third point, the Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office emphasized that right now, the country that deliberately launched a massive attack on Ukrainian cities and a children's hospital in Kyiv continues to preside over the UN Security Council. According to him, this is "an absolutely blasphemous signal to all neutral countries: there are no rules, and direct cannibalism is encouraged."

Moreover, as Podolyak noted, there is no proper reaction from the UN, which directly points to the obvious: "if the war does not end in Russia's total defeat, the world will face a terrible short history of bloody chaos, in which life has no value and death is a new synonym for the word 'Russia'."
