Former Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov, who resigned from his post due to corruption scandals with procurement for the Defense Ministry, became director of the Security and Defense Programs at the Ukrainian Institute for the Future. Ihor Liski, the founder of the Ukrainian Institute for the Future, wrote about this on Facebook, UNN reports .

Oleksiy Reznikov resigned as Defense Minister in September 2023 amid several corruption scandals in the Defense Ministry over the purchase of overpriced food for the Armed Forces. At the time, several senior officials of the ministry were suspected of embezzlement, but not Reznikov himself. His involvement was never proven.
