President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has enacted the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine of November 23, 2023 "On the Application of Personal Special Economic and Other Sanctions". A number of companies and citizens of several countries have been subjected to the restrictions, UNN reports with reference to the President's website.

As stated in the document, the NSDC decided to support the proposals made by the SBU to impose sanctions on 147 individuals and 303 legal entities. Most of the people who were subjected to sanctions restrictions were Russian citizens, but citizens of the Swiss Confederation, the Republic of Cyprus, Britain, the Republic of Uzbekistan, Belarus, and even Ukraine were also sanctioned.
The list of restrictive measures includes asset freezes, restrictions on trade operations, prevention of capital outflows from Ukraine, etc.
At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers, together with the SBU and the National Bank, should ensure the implementation and monitoring of the effectiveness of personal sanctions imposed on legal entities.
And the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine should inform the competent authorities of the European Union, the United States of America and other countries about the application of sanctions and raise the issue of introducing similar restrictive measures.
