Real estate owners paid UAH 5.5 billion to the budget, the most in the capital (20%) and Kyiv region (11%), the State Tax Service of Ukraine reported, writes UNN.
In the first five months of 2026, real estate owners paid UAH 5.5 billion in property tax on real estate other than land plots. This is 12.9% more than last year. Then the budget received UAH 4.9 billion
The capital and the top three leading regions, as indicated, provided a significant portion of the total revenue:
- Kyiv city – UAH 1.1 billion;
- Kyiv region – UAH 612.8 million;
- Dnipropetrovsk region – UAH 564.8 million;
- Lviv region – UAH 539.5 million.
All collected funds remain in local budgets, which, as indicated, allows communities to independently finance infrastructure restoration, the work of municipal services, and social projects during martial law.
