The Ministry of Finance is making significant efforts to harmonize Ukrainian legislation with the EU. As part of the Ministry of Finance has processed more than 7,000 EU acts, UNN reports, citing the Ministry's data.
The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine has fully implemented 742 acts, 46% of the total number of EU legal acts implemented by Ukraine to prepare for the EU accession negotiations. Also, 25 acts are in the process of implementation. 25 acts are in the process of implementation.

The Ministry of Finance is making significant efforts to harmonize Ukrainian legislation with EU legislation.
In particular, it is taking steps to improvement of customs and tax systems: bringing customs legislation into in line with the EU norms, ensuring simplification and standardization of customs procedures, introducing an electronic system for monitoring the movement of of goods, increasing the efficiency of customs procedures, implementing measures that promote transparency and fairness in tax matters, including pricing and and avoidance of double taxation.
The following is also being done implementation of new laws that meet international standards in the fight against money laundering, strengthening monitoring and control over financial operations.
In the area of public finance management In the area of public finance management, the Ministry of Finance promotes the introduction of new procedures for more effective internal control of public finances, in order to prevent abuse and inefficient use of budget funds, as well as to enhance transparency and accountability.

The Ministry of Finance has been designated responsible for four negotiating chapters: taxation, the Customs Union, financial control, financial and budgetary provisions, as well as a as a co-executor in more than 12 negotiating chapters.
As part of the self-screening, the Ministry of Finance Ministry of Finance processed more than 7 thousand EU acts.
More than 80 state authorities and government agencies authorities and government agencies were involved in conducting self-screening for 34 negotiation sections.
The parties have processed more than 28 000 acts of EU law. Thus, the Ministry of Finance determined that:
- 2,739 acts of EU law are subject to
- implementation;
- 1,625 acts of EU law are fully implemented;
- 23,456 acts of EU law do not require implementation
