The command of the Polish Armed Forces warned residents about military aircraft flights in the southeastern regions of the country in connection with Russian strikes on the territory of Ukraine, UNN reports .

"Last night, intense activity of the Russian Federation's long-range aviation was observed, in particular, with strikes on targets located in the west of Ukrainian territory," the statement said.
According to the Polish military, the last time such increased activity, when Russian troops struck the western regions of Ukraine, was recorded on the night of June 21-22.
"All the necessary procedures to ensure the safety of Polish airspace have been activated, and the operational command of the Armed Forces is constantly monitoring the situation," the military added.
