A plane with 62 people on board crashed in Vignedo, Brazil, on Friday. This is reported by the local TV channel GloboNews, UNN reports.
The ATR-72 aircraft of Voepass Linhas Areas was flying from Cascavel, Paraná, to Guarulhos, São Paulo, the G1 website reports, citing Voepass.
The São Paulo State Fire Department confirmed on social media that the plane had crashed in Vignedo and that it had sent seven crews to the crash site.
A video posted on social media showed the plane crashing into a cluster of trees, followed by a large column of black smoke.
