The State Department has said that assistance to Ukraine from European partners will continue. The G7 is working to provide Ukraine with proceeds from frozen Russian assets, and the USA will continue its support in the coming months.

The State Department sees no signs that “aid from across Europe” will stop flowing to Ukraine; US support will not stop flowing to Ukraine in the near future. At the same time, the G7 is working on providing Ukraine with the proceeds from frozen Russian assets.

In response to a question about the likelihood of a reduction in military aid to Ukraine, in particular statements about the possibility of meeting the bulk of military needs to combat rf aggression with $50 billion in loans from the proceeds of frozen russian assets, State Department Deputy Speaker Vedant Patel emphasized the following:

“when we talk about the use of these sovereign assets, it's something that the G7 has been working very closely on.

“we believe it will help Ukrainians in their efforts to protect their territorial integrity and sovereignty.

On the fact that the FRG may halve its military aid to Ukraine, Vedant Patel said it was “their own budgetary decisions, their internal process.

At the same time, the State Department spokesman emphasized that throughout the conflict (rf's war against Ukraine - ed.) the US German partners were “indispensable and remarkable in their work” when it came to supporting Ukraine.

And overall, our allies and partners across Europe continue to bear a tremendous burden when it comes to supporting the Ukrainian people, and we have no reason to think that such support across Europe, including in Germany itself, will not continue, the State Department deputy speaker assured.

Regarding US support for Ukraine:

The United States has also - since the supplemental agreement was adopted, we have also continued to demonstrate our support to our Ukrainian partners through the CPC and other support, and we have no reason to think that this will not continue in the coming months as well

- Vedant Patel said.
