In Donetsk region, eight residents were wounded by Russian bombardment over the past day, and more than 2,500 enemy strikes were recorded in the region, including attacks on 8 settlements, the regional police department reported on Tuesday, UNN reports.

"The police recorded 2578 enemy attacks on the region over the day," law enforcement officials said in a post on social media.
As indicated, Russian troops attacked 8 localities: the cities of Lyman, Myrnohrad, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, Illinka, and the villages of Berestok, Marynivka, and Mykolaivka. Nine civilian objects were damaged: three residential buildings, shops, an infrastructure facility, and cars.
In particular, it was recorded:
- Russians dropped two KAB-250 guided missiles on the Liman, injuring five civilians and damaging a private home and infrastructure.
- Two civilians were injured in Chasovyi Yar due to shelling.
- One more person was wounded in Illinka, a private house was damaged.
- The occupiers hit the outskirts of Myrnohrad with an UMPB D-30SN bomb - no people were injured.
At the same time, police confirmed that the bodies of a couple - a 69-year-old man and a 67-year-old woman - who died during enemy shelling on July 14 - were recovered from the rubble of a five-story building in Myrnohrad. The search and rescue operation has been completed. Thus, the death toll from the attack on the house increased to three. Seven more residents were injured.
